As a Senator for the Manship School of Mass Communication, I represented 500 LSU Students and wrote legislation to better the LSU community. As I continued on in the governing body, I became the Speaker pro tempore of the Senate, one of two head Legislative Branch figures. The following are examples of initiatives I implemented as a change agent during my time at LSU:

• Complying the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) on LSU Game Days to provide parking for handicapped guests.

• Creating a Safety Assessment program for LSU Students to take to supplement Driver's Education.
