Over the years, I have worked with many different policy-oriented offices. Below are examples of different offices or initiatives I have played a role in facilitating.
Repealing the Bike/Ped Funding Limitation - North Carolina
The State of North Carolina does not fund stand-alone projects for bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure. This includes sidewalks, bike paths, and greenways. Joan secured Bipartisan support of North Carolina House Bill 360 and assisted with identifying new Primary Sponsors.
A social media and social advocacy program that educates the public on issues pertaining to biking, walking and running in Louisiana and provides policy assistance to developing multi-modal infrastructure in Baton Rouge.
Work within the U.S. House of Representatives LA-06 Washington, D.C. office.
